This interface is designed for use on Suzuki petrol/gasoline engined models with the 12-pin diagnostic connector or the 16-pin OBD2 style connector with pin 9 populated but not pin 7, typically this is nearly all EFI models from 1991 to 2001 (1991 to 1995 for US and Canadian models). This adapter cable is specially manufactured for RhinoPower, it is designed to connect the SDL interface to a vehicle with the 12-pin ALDL style connector. This cable should not be confused with the GM "OBD1.5" cables available elsewhere, those cables have the ALDL connection wired a different pin and don't supply power.
